On 6 October 2024, the voting day, the Central Referendum Commission provided updates throughout the day regarding the opening of polling stations and the start of voting. Additionally, every two hours, the Members of the CRC RK presented data from the commissions of the regions, cities of republican significance, and the capital city regarding voter participation.

In the Republic, voting at the polling stations ended at 20.00.

According to the data provided by the commissions of the regions, cities of republican significance, and the capital city, as of 20.00 on 6 October 2024, ballots were received by 63.87% of the total number of citizens included in the voter lists, including by region:

2. in Akmola region - 71,63%
3. in Aktobe region - 75,11 %
4. in Almaty region - 68,71 %
5. in Atyrau region - 63,28 %
6. in West Kazakhstan region - 67,03 %
7. in Zhambyl region - 61,28 %
8. in Zhetisu region- 68,01 %
9. in Karaganda region - 72,12 %
10. in Kostanay region - 73,45 %
11. in Kyzylorda region- 82,48%
12. in Mangistau region - 54,03%
13. in Pavlodar region - 65,09 %
14. in North Kazakhstan region - 66,31%
15. in Turkestan region - 75,31 %
16. in Ulytau region - 70,69 %
17. in East Kazakhstan region - 73,79 %
18. in Astana city - 50,81 %
19. in Almaty city - 25,39 %
20. in Shymkent city - 70,57 %.
The precinct referendum commissions have begun counting the votes. The counting process at each polling station must not exceed twelve hours from the start of the count
