The results of voter turnout and preliminary results of voting in the early 

elections of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan

 

On November 21 this year a briefing was held by the CEC of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the results of voter turnout and preliminary results of voting in the early elections of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Based on electronic copies of the protocols of election commissions of regions, cities of republican significance and the capital on the results of the vote count in the early elections of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, held on November 20, 2022, 8,300,046 people took part in the voting. The voter turnout on November 20, 2022 was 69.44%. By region:

In total, on November 20, the CEC held 9 briefings on voter turnout. All information was provided as timely as possible.

The ballot included 6 candidates for the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the “Against all” column. When voting, candidates for the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the “Against all” column got the following number of votes:

On voting day, more than 11 thousand proxies of candidates for the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 641 observers from foreign states, international organisations, 15.5 thousand observers from political parties, more than 30 thousand from public associations observed the election procedures.

1225 representatives of Kazakhstani media, 106 accredited journalists representing 41 foreign media from 23 countries were also present at the polling stations and covered the course of the elections.

All appeals officially received and being received by the Central Election Commission, territorial election commissions will be considered in accordance with the procedure established by law and, if the information contained in them is confirmed, the measures provided by law will be taken on them.
