On the opening of polling stations

According to the data provided by commissions of regions, cities of republican significance, the capital, as of 7.15 of the capital’s time on November 20, 2022, 8150 polling stations in the regions started voting.

12 polling stations started voting at the representative offices of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 11 foreign states.

There are 10,101 polling stations in the Republic in total. Including at the representative offices of the Republic of Kazakhstan in foreign states 68 polling stations in 53 countries.

In 86 polling stations, according to the decisions made by the territorial commissions, voting began at 6.00.

In accordance with the boundaries of time zones on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, stations of 5 regions: Aktobe, Atyrau, West Kazakhstan, Kyzylorda and Mangystau regions will start voting at 08.00, capital time.

The lists include 11 million 950 thousand 485 citizens.

In total, precinct commissions issued 22578 absentee ballots for the right to vote based on written applications from citizens.
