Central Election Commission registered deputy of the Mazhilis of the 

Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan D. Legkiy

On October 31, 2022, a meeting of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held under the chairmanship of Nurlan Abdirov, at which a resolution “On the registration of deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, D.M. Legkiy” was adopted.

 In accordance with articles 12, 45, 46, paragraph 6 of article 97-1, article 98 of the Constitutional Act of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated September 28, 1995 “On Elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan” and an extract from Resolution No. 279/02-30 of the Bureau of the People’s Party of Kazakhstan dated October 22, 2022, the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan resolved to: 

1) transfer the vacant mandate of a deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan to member of the “People’s Party of Kazakhstan” Public Association Dmitry Legkiy.  

2) register Dmitry Legkiy as a deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.  

3) hand over to Dmitry Legkiy the appropriate certificate and badge of the established form.  

During the presentation, Chairman of the Central Election Commission Nurlan Abdirov, noted that D. Legkiy is well known in the Kostanay region. Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor of KSU named after A. Baitursynov. In 2016, he was a candidate for deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan from the Communist People’s Party of Kazakhstan. 

In conclusion, the CEC Chairman wished D. Legkiy success in new work as part of the deputy corps.
