The Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan returned to the Republican budget 1.6 billion KZT out of 16.5 billion KZT previously allocated for holding the republican referendum on June 5, 2022 on amendments and additions to the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Savings were made due to the optimisation of public procurement and the actual employment of members of election commissions.

Today, a meeting of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held at which a corresponding resolution was adopted “On amending the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 13, 2022 No. 309 “On the allocation of funds from the reserve of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan” for holding the republican referendum on June 5, 2022.
