of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan

 

Your inclusion in the voter lists is the guarantee of exercise of the constitutional right to participate in elections.

The lists are compiled by local executive bodies (akimats) based on the permanent registration at the place of residence on the territory of a particular polling station. Citizens who do not have permanent registration shall be included in the lists on the basis of an application submitted to the akimats at their location.

Every citizen who will not be able to arrive on voting day at the polling station at the place of their registration, no later than a month before voting day or October 20, 2022, shall have the right to submit an application to the relevant akimat and register at the polling station at the place of their actual location .

Upon receipt of an application, the akimat shall organise the exclusion of a citizen from the voter list at the place of registration and his/her inclusion in the list of the polling station where he/she will vote.

This right can be exercised by:

- citizens who know that on the voting day they will not be at the place of registration;

- non-resident students studying in specialised secondary and higher educational institutions, living outside the dormitories;

- citizens working on a rotational basis.

A citizen can only be included in one voter list.

Inclusion in the voter list at the place of registration can be checked via the website or the Call Center of the relevant akimat.

From November 4, 2022, you will have an opportunity to check your data in the voter list in your polling station.

Take necessary legally significant actions to include yourself in the voter list in a timely manner!
