Central Referendum Commission accredited
first international observers
On May 18, 2022, the Central Referendum Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan adopted a resolution «On accreditation of observers of international organisations and foreign states to the republican referendum scheduled for June 5, 2022».
Upon the recommendation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, 39 observers from 3 international organisations and 5 foreign states were presented for accreditation. They include: 6 observers as part of the CIS Observer Mission; 5 observers – Observer missions from the Organisation of Turkic States; 17 observers from the IPA CIS, as well as 11 observers from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Georgia, Moldova.
The data on observers will be updated upon receipt of submissions for accreditation.
The Institute of International Observation was opened by the Central Referendum Commission on May 6, 2022. Accreditation of observers of international organisations and foreign states will last until 18:00 on May 30, 2022.
