Meeting with representatives of North Caucasus Electoral Law Center

On November 24 this year a working meeting of S. Mustafina, a member of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held with representatives of North Caucasus Center for Electoral Law and Process of the Stavropol Territory of the Russian Federation: Director of the Center, Dean of the Faculty of Law of Pyatigorsk State University, coordinator of the Federal Coordination Council of Centers for Electoral Law and Procedure L.A. Tkhabisimova and Head of the Department of International Law of Pyatigorsk State University Baboshina E.V.

A meaningful dialogue took place on building partnerships in the field of professionalizing electoral personnel and improving the legal culture of election participants.

Doctor of Law, Professor, expert in the field of electoral law L.A.Tkhabisimova presented activities and achievements of North Caucasian Center for Electoral Law and Process sharing the experience of training election organizers and electoral legal education of young people. The center created in 2016 as part of Pyatigorsk State University is a basic training platform for members of election commissions, observers, candidates for elective positions in government and local government bodies, and voters.

The meeting was also attended by Kazakh scientists in the field of electoral law: Vice-President of Astana International University S.K.Amandykova, Associate Professor of Karaganda State University M.I.Bilyalova.
