The CEC of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a training seminar
together with the OSCE Program Office in Nur-Sultan
On November 18, 2021, the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan organized a training seminar "International Election Observation Standards" together with the OSCE Program Office in Nur-Sultan.
The purpose of the seminar is to train representatives of state bodies, election commissions and non-governmental organizations who travel as international observers of elections to foreign states as part of missions of various international organizations.
Within the framework of the training seminar, international experts - the senior adviser of the OSCE on elections, Alexey Gromov, and the former chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Moldova, Iurie Ciocan spoke. In addition, an exchange of experience on observing elections that were held in 2021 in Armenia, Russian Federation, Georgia, Uzbekistan took place among international observers of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
As a result of the event, a productive exchange of views took place, as well as the presentation of certificates to its participants.
This seminar has been held annually since 2008 within the framework of the project activities of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan and OSCE Program Office in Nur-Sultan.
