The list of observers from the Republic of Kazakhstan sent to the presidential elections of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which will be held on October 24, 2021 has been approved

The candidates of observers from the Republic of Kazakhstan sent to participate in observing elections of the President of Republic of Uzbekistan were approved on October 12, 2021, by a decree of the Central Election Commission.

37 representatives of the Republic of Kazakhstan will take part in the presidential elections observation of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Observer missions from the CIS, SCO, Turkic Council, OSCE/ODIHR, as well as at the invitation of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan will take part in observation mission.

The election of the President of Uzbekistan is scheduled for October 24, 2021. According to the current Electoral Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan is elected for a five year term. Five people shall apply for the highest post in the country - from each political party registered in Uzbekistan. The early voting will take place from 14 to 20 October 2021.
