The CEC of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in General Assembly meeting at the 30th anniversary conference of the Association of European Election Officials

A meeting of the General Assembly and the 30th anniversary conference of the Association of European Election Officials (ACEEEO) took place in Bukharest (Romania) from 28 to 30 September 2021 on the issue: "Youth participation & election campaign and parties finance", in which representatives of the CEC of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part online.

The results of implementation of the ACEEEO work plan for the 2020 reporting period as well as issues of including the former Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Georgia in the honorary members of ACEEEO were considered within the framework of the meeting of the General Assembly. In addition, a decision was made on the venue for the next meeting of the General Assembly and the next conference in the Republic of Moldova in 2022.

The ACEEEO conference addressed issues of education and participation of young voters in elections, campaign finance and political parties, as well as special measures for voting in ACEEEO member states.

The Association of European Election Officials(ACEEEO) was established in 1991. 25 states are members of the ACEEEO. The Republic of Kazakhstan is an institutional member of the ACEEEO.

The goal of the Association is to ensure that forums are held impartially and independently of any national leadership for the exchange of information between election organizers and experts within the region of the Association for discussion and decision-making in order to ensure open and transparent elections.
