The results of the Internet Olympiad among students of universities in Kazakhstan "Election systems of the countries of the world"

September 24 this year the Central Election Commission held the second round of the Internet Olympiad among students of Kazakhstan's universities in partnership with the Association of Kazakhstan's Universities on the topic "Election systems of the countries of the world" - the "Best Debater" contest.

During the competition, 11 students from 7 universities who showed the best results in online testing at the end of the first round of the Internet Olympiad demonstrated skills of debating on topical socio-political issues related to the electoral rights of citizens and the electoral process to the members of the National Jury.

The national jury evaluated performances of participants according to the criteria developed with the involvement of professional experts and psychologists. At the same time, the jury members unanimously noted intellectual and analytical potential, the argumentation and consistency of the student's speeches.

Results of the second round of the Internet Olympiad

By the decision of the National Jury of the Internet Olympiad among students of universities in Kazakhstan "Electoral systems of the countries of the world":

- Vadim Drepin, a student of the Kazakh-American Free University (East Kazakhstan region, Ust-Kamenogorsk), was recognized as the winner;

- Nadirov Emin Vagidovich - student of Caspian University (Almaty) was recognized as the first prize-winner;

- Zinelgapparova Kamilya Asylbekovna, a student of the Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov (Aktobe region, Aktobe), was recognized as the second prize-winner.
