CEC members took part in a training seminar

On July 14, 2021, members of the Central Election Commission Serik Sydykov and Yerlan Dauylbayev took part in a training seminar organized at the site of the “NGO Academy” project of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan for representatives of non-governmental sector and political parties.

The seminar was held as part of the election campaign for election of akims of cities of district significance, villages, townships, rural districts in order to improve electoral and legal culture of participants in the electoral process.

During the seminar, Yerlan Dauylbayev made a presentation on the topic "Legal bases for organizing and holding elections of akims of the rural level". He also explained in detail the organizational and procedural aspects of the election process of akims of rural districts.

Serik Sydykov in his speech on the topic "The legal basis for observing elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan" explained issues of exercising powers of observers defined in the Constitutional Act of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan".

At the end of the seminar members of the CEC answered questions of the participants.

More than 160 representatives of public organizations took part in the seminar.
