A group of international observers of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in observation of early parliamentary elections in the Republic of Moldova

A group of international observers of the Republic of Kazakhstan, headed by a member of the CEC of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Serik Sydykov took part in observing early elections of deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova that took place on July 11, 2021.

During the election observation, representatives of the CEC of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in a meeting of representatives of electoral bodies from a number of countries - Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Romania, Turkey and Ukraine. At the meeting, the head of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Moldova, Dorin Cimil informed about the main stages of the election campaign, course of preparation, conduct of elections, and specifics of the election campaign.

On election day, representatives of Kazakh delegation visited a number of polling stations to observe the voting process, vote counting and tabulation of the election results.

In addition, a member of the CEC of the Republic of Kazakhstan Serik Sydykov took part on behalf of the Republic of Kazakhstan in a meeting of the Council of Coordinators of the CIS Observer Mission. During the meeting the Mission's Statement on results of observing preparation and conduct of elections of deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, held on July 11, 2021 was adopted.

As a reminder, 4 observers from the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in election observation in the Republic of Moldova as part of the CIS Observer Mission, as well as at the invitation of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Moldova.
