Participation of representatives of Central Election Commission in a seminar-meeting in Aktau

June 18 this year a seminar-meeting "On organization and conduct of direct elections of akims of cities of district significance, villages, townships, rural districts" was held in Aktau.

The seminar was attended by a member of the CEC Y. Dauylbayev, head of the department for interaction with media and public associations of the CEC Office A. Tazhiyeva, representatives of territorial election commissions and local executive bodies.

Innovations in electoral legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, legal and organizational aspects of the electoral campaign, issue of ensuring electoral rights of citizens with disabilities, information support for activities of election commissions, as well as the holding of elections of akims in a pandemic were considered during the seminar-meeting.

As a result of the seminar, an exchange of views took place.
