Working trip of the member of the CEC Y.S. Dauylbayev to Shymkent

On June 16, 2021, a seminar-meeting was held in Shymkent on organization of activities of territorial election commissions of the Turkestan region and on preparation and conduct of elections of akims of the rural level. The meeting was held in the form of a training seminar in online mode via video conferencing with all districts of the region.

Meeting was attended by a member of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Y.S. Dauylbayev, heads of akim's offices of cities and regions, members of territorial election commissions as well as representatives of government agencies involved in organizing the election process.

Y. Dauylbayev spoke about innovations in electoral legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan: peculiarities of organizing and holding elections of akims of cities of regional significance, villages, townships and rural districts, dwelling separately on practical issues of ensuring electoral rights of citizens with disabilities.

Also, representatives of territorial election commissions of the Turkestan region made reports on the aspects of organizing and holding elections of akims of the rural level as well as issues of information and documentation support for election commissions.
