Open online lecture was held by the member of the CEC at Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies

February 4 this year member of the Central Election Commission Yerlan Dauylbayev held an open lecture for students of Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Audience was greatly interested in provisions of lecture concerning legal aspects of electoral system development in Kazakhstan starting from the period of gaining independence.

Yerlan Dauylbayev noted that main tasks for development of the electoral system set for Kazakh society by the country's leadership and are aimed at improving electoral procedures and modernizing public consciousness through increasement of electoral and legal culture of its citizens.

Lecturer emphasized that stages of formation and development of constitutional foundations of modern electoral law and electoral system of our country have become significant historical milestones for confident integration of Kazakhstan into the world community as a state aimed at expanding rights and freedoms of its citizens through development of local self-government and activation of party and political fields.

Lecture was held within the framework of action initiated by the CEC of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Global Elections Day.
