Lectures on development of electoral system of Kazakhstan were held in the affiliates of Public Administration Academy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan
An open lecture for civil servants on the topic - "Development of electoral system of the Republic of Kazakhstan" was held in regional affiliates of Public Administration Academy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan located in regions, Almaty and Shymkent.
Training event was held with the involvement of faculty teachers of affiliates who revealed in their speeches basic laws of electoral system formation of independent Kazakhstan which confidently entered the world community in positions of adherence to international electoral principles and standards in combination with national interests.
Students of affiliates of the Academy discussed issues related to the constitutional foundations of electoral law with great interest as well as practice of organizing and holding elections which are an integral mechanism for ensuring legitimacy of state power .
Scale of organization of events to improve electoral and legal culture of civil servants is due to the important role of civil service in modernizing society through development of local self-government, enhancing activities of civil society institutions and expanding electoral rights and freedoms of citizens. These are the goals that were set before the state by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in his speech at the opening of the first session of renewed composition of the Parliament of the VII convocation.
