Lecture on electoral subject was held by the TEC of Almaty

Today, the territorial election commission of Almaty organized an open lecture for young voters on the topic - "Development of electoral system of the Republic of Kazakhstan" on the basis of Abylai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages as part of celebration of Global Elections Day. Training event is aimed at improving the electoral and legal culture of student youth.

During the lecture, Chairperson of the TEC, Mrs. Asanova Zh.B. dwelled in details on formation, evolution and prospects of improving the country's electoral system which are part of history of independent Kazakhstan. She also shared with practical experience of activities of election commissions during the election campaigns.

Lecturer noted that development of the electoral system in Kazakhstan reflects the essence of political changes taking place at present stage and the study of the process of its formation is important for the implementation of further democratic reforms.
