Chairman of the TEC of Atyrau region delivered a lecture for students of the University named after Kh.Dosmukhamedov 

On February 4, 2021, the Territorial Election Commission of the Atyrau region organized an open lecture for students.

Lectures on development of the electoral system of the Republic of Kazakhstan were given by Chairman of the Atyrau Regional Territorial Election Commission A.M. Aimanakumov, Rector of the Kh.Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University S.N. Idrisov, Head of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines, Doctor RhD Shaikhadenov R.N.

Lecturers presented the history of the country's electoral system development, stages of its evolution in the context of improving electoral legislation and chronology of electoral campaigns to young and future voters.

During the training event, speakers emphasized the special role of youth and their active civil position in implementation of institutional reforms in Kazakhstan aimed at expanding rights and freedoms of citizens through development of local self-government and civil society institutions.

Open lecture was held in the framework of the CEC's complex of events dedicated to celebration of the Global Elections Day which was established by European Association of Election Organizers and is celebrated annually on the first Thursday of February.
