An online lecture was held on the basis of the project methodological platform of the Central Election Commission
On the Global Elections Day, which is celebrated this year on February 4, an online lecture was held at the Pavlodar Region Branch of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
This event has opened a series of lectures on the development of the electoral system of Kazakhstan within the network of branches of the Academy in all regions of the country.
The lecture was delivered by the Head of the Branch of APA in Pavlodar region Gulnara Isenova.
Within an open lecture Mrs. Isenova told the students about the stages of evolution and the current foundations of the electoral system of the Republic. The study of the history of the electoral system formation from the point of view of modern ideas about the democratic structure of the state provides a unique opportunity to understand how the emergence of this institution gave society a crucial chance to direct the development of the state along the path of evolutionary and political transformations, - said the lecturer.
The main task of the open lectures is to familiarize civil servants with the basics of electoral rights, to bring to the understanding of each citizen their involvement in the reforms being carried out in the country, the course of which largely depends on the results of the expression of the will, activity and responsibility of citizens for the exercise of their constitutional rights.
The online lecture was attended by 33 regional civil servants undergoing advanced training and retraining. The participants have received new knowledge and answers to their questions.
For reference: in 2017 the Pavlodar branch of the Academy was defined as a methodological platform for the implementation of a pilot project to improve the professional level of the organizers of the electoral field and the electoral and legal literacy of participants in the electoral process. In 2018, the Pavlodar branch of APA participated in the development of educational and methodological modules for training the election commissions members for election campaigns.
