Meeting of CEC members with representatives of
the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly

On January 9, 2021, meeting of members of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan with representatives of the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly took place.

Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan Berik Imashev thanked the participants of the meeting and the coordinator of the observer group from the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly A. Mayorov for accepting the invitation to observe elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan and wished success in observation.

During the meeting, the CEC members informed international observers about the preparations for the current election campaign, its stages and preparations for the election day.

On December 23, 2020, members of the CEC of the Republic of Kazakhstan have already held an online meeting with a group of observers from the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the CIS Member States under the leadership of Secretary General - Head of the Secretariat of the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly Council D.Kobitsky, at which they also discussed preparation and conduct of elections of deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament and maslikhats of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Following the meeting, briefing for media representatives was held.
