Representative of the CEC of the Republic of Kazakhstan V. Zheksembekova gave a lecture at the Academy of Justice under the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On January 29, 2020, the CEC’s senior consultant, Doctor of Education, Professor V. Zheksembekova delivered a lecture to judges at the Academy of Justice under the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the subject of interaction of courts and the media in ensuring the openness of the judiciary.

The lecturer shared such issues as high-quality media coverage of the judiciary, as well as basic principles for interaction between the judiciary and the media. In addition, she highlighted the importance of why the judicial system should be open and transparent as well as the role of the Concept of Interaction between Courts of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Media, as approved by order of the Chair of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan in April 2016.
