Skype Conference with the Innovation and Technology Center at the South-Russian Institute of Management under Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA)
On January 16, 2020, the Electoral Education Department of the administrative office of the CEC of the Republic of Kazakhstan had a skype conference with the Innovation and Technology Center of RANEPA’s South Russian Institute of Management in the Rostov Region (RANEPA SRIM) in order to learn about the project "Virtual Educational Simulator for Training Members of Precinct and Territorial Election Commissions", which won the regional contest of social IT-projects.
The conference was attended by RANEPA SRIM’s Deputy Director Aleksey Baranov, Director of RANEPA SRIM’s Innovation and Technology Center Aleksey Tagayev, and the head of the development group Sergey Kuzminsky.
During the discussion, Russian colleagues spoke about the training simulator used to enhance the professional level of members of the election commissions in the Rostov region, and about its technical features.
The simulator makes it possible to test your knowledge in a game form and to gain new competencies that each employee of an election commission needs. The game simulates a voting day from registration of commission’s members and observers to the end of the vote count.
Participants shared opinions at the end of the meeting.
