On May 31, 2019, Chairperson of the CEC of the Republic of Kazakhstan B. Imashev meets with Urszula Gacek, Head of the OSCE / ODIHR Election Observation Mission at the early president election

The head of the Central Election Commission informed Ms. Urszula Gacek on the preparations for the day of voting at the early election of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and also informed about the current activities of the RK CEC and electoral authorities in general, namely about electoral training, voter lists, voter awareness, readiness of polling stations, ensuring the rights of persons with disabilities, accreditation of international observers.

The Head of the OSCE / ODIHR Mission, in turn, expressed appreciation for the cooperation and assistance from the CEC RK, and for organizing meetings with experts of the OSCE / ODIHR Mission and providing the necessary materials.

At the end of the meeting, the Chairperson of the Central Election Commission thanked for the work of the OSCE / ODIHR Mission aimed at impartial observation of the election, and also wished success to the experts of the OSCE / ODIHR Mission.
