CEC Deputy Chairman Petrov spoke at zonal training workshop in Kostanai
On May 16, 2019, in the city of Kostanai, Deputy Chairman of the CEC of the Republic of Kazakhstan Konstantin Petrov delivered a lecture on the topic “Formation and Development of the Electoral System of the Republic of Kazakhstan” as part of a series of zonal training workshops on a single theme “State Ethnopolitics: Shaping Civic Identity and a Single Nation”, organized by the Center for Interethnic and Interfaith Studies in the Central Asian Region of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The lecture was attended by 76 civil servants dealing with interethnic and interfaith relations, public policy in the field of social harmony and national unity, as well as by experts from the departments of domestic policy, youth policy, religious affairs and language development, heads and experts of regional APK secretariats, experts from regional institutions “Kogamdyk Kelіsіm”, representatives of ethnic and cultural associations of Akmola, Kostanai and North Kazakhstan oblasts.
The event was held in the framework of the CEC set of events to improve the electoral and legal education of participants in the electoral process.
