CEC of Kazakhstan conducts training for representatives of republican public associations

On May 13, 2019, Secretary of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan S. Mustafina held a training event for representatives of republican public associations.

The topic of the training was the financing of the election campaign at the election of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the interaction of election commissions with republican public associations.

The seminar was housed by the territorial election commission of the city of Nur-Sultan.

The meeting was attended by representatives of republican public associations and political parties that nominated their candidates for the presidency of the Republic of Kazakhstan: PA “Ak Zhol Democratic Party of Kazakhstan”, RPA “Federation of Trade Unions of Kazakhstan”, PA “Ayul People's Democratic Patriotic Party”, RPA “Uly Dyla Kyrandary”, RPA “Ult Tagdyry United National Patriotic Movement“, PA “Communist People’s Party of Kazakhstan”, proxies of the registered candidates and representatives of their offices.

The seminar was mainly focused on the use of the republican budget funds allocated for the expenditures of candidates for the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan (7,331,200 KZT), as well as on the formation of candidates’ electoral funds and their expenditures in accordance with the established norms of the Constitutional Act “On Elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan” and the resolution of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
