In view of the recent unprecedented statements by the President of Kyrgyz Republic A. Atambaev, the CEC RK has decided to refuse the participation in the presidential election of Kyrgyz Republic on 15 October 2017 as an independent monitoring subject within the framework of the current bilateral Memorandum of Understanding between the Central Commission on Elections and holding of referendum of the Kyrgyz Republic and the CEC RK, and to notify about it the Kyrgyz party.

At the same time, by implementing the international commitments, the CEC RK carried out work for sending representatives from Kazakhstan as observers to the presidential election in Kyrgyz Republic. 46 Kazakh observers will monitor election in the composition of CIS, OSCE/ODIHR, SCO, Turkic council missions as well as within the framework of parliamentary assemblies of the CIS, OSCE, Turkic-speaking countries.
