CEC of Kazakhstan starts electoral training for trainers
On 1 September the CEC of the Republic of Kazakhstan launched the project on training of 150 electoral trainers for all regions of the country. The training seminar is focused on the professional training of the coaching corps for their further training of members of election commissions of all levels and other organizers of the electoral process.
The seminar is organized in two stages with use of modern interactive methods of teaching and assessment of knowledge in internally-distance form. The distance stage will be held during September and will be devoted to the study of the legislative foundations of the current electoral system of the republic.
"We consider improvement of the qualification of the staff of election commissions from the republican to the local level as one of the priorities of the CEC. The project of training 150 electoral trainers is the first step in the systemic organization of training of members of election commissions. Colleagues in the regional election commissions are required to meet new professional requirements.
The main goal of trainers is to teach the basics of the proper organization of the election process, to give a clear understanding of their tasks and responsibilities," said the Secretary of the CEC Sabila Mustafina.
