Having taken into consideration the use of Sailau CIS at elections to the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan the specialists presented an updated and improved computerized information system. At the presidential elections there will be used not the terminal reading barcodes but voter’s electronic card and electronic touch screen.
The presented technology has been improved based on development of information systems. In particular, this technology allows to carry out voting procedures for the great number of voters using special multi-terminal system on the basis of computer at the polling stations having modem connection to telephone system.
Multi-terminal complex implementing Sailau CIS electronic voting technology does not create big workload on telecommunication network as this system collects information collection only during a day and transmits electronically to the Central Election Commission.
