On October 23, 2005 there was a meeting of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan to consider the issue of registering Abylkasymov Yerasyl Abylkasymovich as a presidential candidate.
      Pursuant to Item 5 of Article 59 of the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Central Election Commission received:
     1. An abstract from minutes of the second extraordinary convention of the Communist People’s Party of Kazakhstan was submitted to the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which decided to nominate Abylkasymov Yerasyl Abylkasymovich as a presidential candidate from the Communist People’s Party of Kazakhstan with an enclosed copy of the document of registration of this public association in the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
     2. Abylkasymov Yerasyl Abylkasymovich’s statement of consent to be nominated as a presidential candidate;
     3. biographic data of Abylkasymov Yerasyl Abylkasymovich;
     4. minutes of the regional election commissions about the results of verifying signatures to support Abylkasymov Yerasyl Abylkasymovich;
     5. a official document from the tax authorities that the candidate and his wife have filed their tax returns;
     6. an invoice of election fee paid by the candidate.
      Having considered the submitted documents, the Central lection Commission found that the requirements of the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan and issued a Decree to register Abylkasymov Yerasyl Abylkasymovich as a presidential candidate. Abylkasymov Yerasyl Abylkasymovich was born on July 28, 1948. He is ethnical Kazakh. The candidate is a deputy of Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He is a resident of Astana city. He was nominated by the Communist People’s Party of Kazakhstan on September 17, 2005.
