On August, 6 2007 was held the sitting of the Central election commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan where it was accepted the decision on the organization and holding on August, 10th 2007 the political debates in the air of the republican TV channel “Khabar” and also was approved their Time-limit.
Also by the Central election commission was accepted the Decree on election bulletins for regular election of the deputies of Maslikhats according which to the okrug on election of the deputies of Maslikhats election commissions was presented the right by their decision establish the inserting amendments into the text of the election bulletin if in the established by the Law order one of the candidates withdrew his candidacy or it was decided to conceal his registration.
It is continuing the accreditation of the observers of the foreign states and international organizations. To the number of earlier accredited observers jointed 167 more persons. Thus the total number of international observers is 671 persons.
Besides according to the recommendations of the Public Council on consideration of information disputes by the Central election commission to the General Prosecutor’s Office for the expert examination were sent the films of NSDP “One country, two destinies” («Одна страна, две судьбы», «Бір мемлекет, екі тағдыр»).
On August, 4 the General Prosecutor’s Office presented an official account according which by the conclusion of the experts of the forensic examinations Centre of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan the plot of the films could cause the social strife. At the present time by the Home Affairs Bodies of the city of Almaty is held a pre-investigation checking. An explanation of the Law by the prosecutor of the city of Almaty is submitted to the head of pre-election staff of RPA NSDP.
Today at its sitting the Central election commission accepted the Decree on admitting the conceal of the Almaty branch of JSC “Khabar” Agency” in placing in the air of the channel “Khabar” campaign films “One country, two destinies” («Одна страна, две судьбы», «Бір мемлекет, екі тағдыр») correspond to the Constitutional Law “on Elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan”.
