According to the election legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on August, 12th 2007 was finished the accreditation of the observers from the foreign states and international organizations.
At 23.45 on August, 12th was held the sitting of the Central election commission at which was taken a Decree on accreditation by the representation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan of 71 more observers.
Thus the total number of the accredited international observers for extraordinary election of the deputies of Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan is 1129 persons.
Of them: there are 460 observers of the ODIHR/OSCE Mission, 448 of the CIS Mission, 13 of the SCO Mission, 71 representatives of the international organizations and 137 observers of the foreign states.
According to the data submitted by the observers they are all consistent with the requirements of the election legislation of our country.
