On August, 27 2007 the Central election commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan according to article 98 of the Constitutional Law “on Elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan” registered 98 deputies of Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the fourth legislature elected on August, 18 under the common, equal and direct suffrage by secret voting on party lists and also 9 deputies of Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the fourth legislature elected on August, 20 at the session of the Assembly of the nation of Kazakhstan.
All registered deputies at the sitting of the central election commission were awarded the relevant certificates and badges.
According to article 59 of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan the first session of the Parliament is convened by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan not later than thirty days after publishing the results of the elections.
