On 15 April 2008 the recurring meeting of the Working Group on elaboration of the draft law on introducing amendments to the electoral legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place in the Central Election Commission.
At the meeting members of the Working Group considered summary table of suggestions on introducing changes and amendments into electoral legislation, as well as discussed basic suggestions, presented by political parties, public associations, election administrators and other players of electoral process.
Kazakhstan International Bureau on Human Rights and Rule of Law, Public Fund “Charter for Human Rights”, Republic Network of Independent Observers (RNIO) presented their comments to the summary table.
During discussion representative of DPK “Nagyz AK ZHOL” P. Svoik focused attention of the members of the Working Group on the necessity of improvement of electoral legislation’s norms that regulate the process of election commissions’ formation and electoral procedures on voting day.
