On 13 December 2011, the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan registered the party lists of Adilet Democratic Party and Party of Patriots of Kazakhstan.
The issue of registration of party lists of Rukhaniyat Party and Communist People’s Party of Kazakhstanwas withdrawn fromthe agendaat the CEC’s meeting due to the need for conducting a supplementary verification of certain candidates for their compliance with the requirements of the Constitution and the Law on Elections of the Republic of Kazakhstan. As of 13 December 2011, 7883 candidates were nominated for the election of deputies of Maslikhats.
Of these, 1230 candidates were nominated to oblast Maslikhats, including the cities of Astana and Almaty;5134 candidates were nominated to district Maslikhats and 1519 candidates were nominated to city Maslikhats.
3775 persons were registered as the candidates for deputies of Maslikhats.
