On 12 January 2012, the debates of political parties contesting the election of deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament were held
On 13 January 2012, the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan set the time for start and end of the voting at the election of deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament, to be elected by the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan.
According to the resolution adopted by the Central Election Commission the voting will start on 16 January 2012 at 9.30 a.m. and will extend till the end of the voting by the electorate, attending the session of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan.
