About the process of candidates’ nomination at early election of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan
On 26 February 2015 in compliance with the Calendar plan adopted by the Central Election Commission the nomination of candidates to President at early election of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, called on 26 April 2015, has started.
On 2 March the application for nomination of his candidature in the order of self-nomination has been submitted to the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan by Mr. Askar Sygrabayev.
On 3 March, also in the order of self-nomination, the candidatures have been nominated by Mr. Safiolla Aldazhanov, Ms. Limana Koishiyeva, Mr. Bakhyt Abdukarimov and Mr. Sukhrab Myrzashov.
Thus, at this point during election campaign five candidates have been nominated. One of them is woman.
According to clause 2 of article 54 of the Constitutional Act “On elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan” the compliance of a candidate to President, stipulated by the requirements of the Constitution and the Constitutional Act “On elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan”, shall be determined by the Central Election Commission within five days since submission of application for self-nomination.
