VISITED KYZYLORDA REGION ON AN INSPECTION TRIP

Mukhtar Yerman, Deputy Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the RK, got acquainted with the level of readiness of the Kyzylorda region for the upcoming elections of deputies of the Kurultai. He arrived in the region on an inspection trip.

In the first half of the day, he held a working meeting with representatives of the regional leadership, law enforcement agencies and territorial election commissions of the city of Kyzylorda and all districts. The Head of the office of the Akim of the Kyzylorda region, the Chairman of the regional territorial election commission, representatives of the prosecutor's office and the police department, the Head of the Division for the coordination of employment and social programs of the region made a report on the work done. The meeting participants also discussed the logistical equipment of polling stations and the operation of online services.

"Special attention should be paid to the high-quality organization of the work of precinct election commissions, the issuance of absentee voting certificates for citizens to vote. It is important to provide each voter with an individual election invitation in a timely manner and create favourable conditions for voting. In addition, it is necessary to ensure high-quality connection of polling stations to the Internet, especially those where online services for temporary registration of citizens will be launched," - said Mukhtar Yerman.

On this day, the CEC Deputy Chairman of the also got acquainted with the work of Polling Stations No. 375, 260 located in the regional center. He stressed that the activities of precinct commissions should be transparent, and the facilities themselves accessible to all citizens, especially for people with disabilities.

It should be noted that representatives of international observation missions are already working in the region. In particular, representatives of the OSCE/ODIHR Mission attended Mukhtar Yerman's working meeting with government agencies today, and also got acquainted with the activities of polling stations.

Mukhtar Yerman was told about the work on informing citizens during a visit to the office of the unified call center 109. The dispatchers here work in two shifts and are ready to answer the questions of the region's voters. In addition, an online service has been launched in the region that allows residents to check whether they are included in the voter lists, find out how to obtain an absentee voting certificate, and access call center phone numbers. It is available in the Smart Kyzylorda mobile application and the Telegram messenger.

In turn, the CEC Deputy Chairman demonstrated to the members of the territorial and precinct election commissions the capabilities of the Sailau AI assistant, which operates on the CEC website.

It should be noted that there are 386 precinct election commissions in the Kyzylorda region, which include 2,720 members.
