The Central Election Commission Held an Online Seminar for 

Representatives of Political Parties and Election Observation Organizations

Today, the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan held an online seminar for representatives of political parties, accredited public associations, and non-profit organizations as part of the preparations for the elections of deputies of the Kurultai of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 

The seminar was organized in accordance with the Training Plan for Members of Election Commissions and Other Participants in the Electoral Process, approved by Resolution No. 26/52 of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 1 July 2026.

The event brought together approximately 300 representatives of political parties, accredited public associations, and non-profit organizations from all regions of the country.

The participants were welcomed by Shavkhat Utemissov, Secretary of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In his opening remarks, he emphasized the importance of the upcoming electoral campaign and stressed the need for all participants in the electoral process to strictly comply with the requirements of the electoral legislation.

Members of the Central Election Commission delivered presentations on the key aspects of preparing for and conducting the elections of deputies of the Kurultai, liability for violations of electoral legislation, and the main principles of election observation. Participants were briefed on the key requirements of the electoral legislation, as well as the rights and responsibilities of participants in the electoral process. In addition, representatives of political parties, public associations, and non-profit organizations received answers to practical questions regarding the organization and conduct of the elections. 

The seminar was aimed at ensuring a uniform understanding of the provisions of electoral legislation, enhancing the legal awareness of participants in the electoral process, and contributing to the conduct of open and transparent elections.
