Dear electors!

On December, the 4 th of 2005 the regular elections of the President of Republic of Kazakhstan will be conducted.
The Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan guarantees to the citizens of Republic the right to elect and being elected to the state bodies. In order to realize your universal suffrage, you have to be included in the electoral roll.
The election legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan anticipates the appropriate conditions in order to each citizen being included into the electoral roll at the concrete polling station.
The electoral roll is being executed at the place of residence by the appropriate local executive bodies (Akimat) on the basis of data, provided by bodies, which fulfill the registration of population (justice).
if your still didn’t register at the place of residence yet, you should take care of it, than you will be included in the electoral roll.
Each of electors has a right to register as an elector in the appropriate Akimat from the moment of elections announcement. We remind you, that on September 7, 2005 Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan has declared December 4 th as a day of Presidential Elections.
Akimats are obliged to complete the work on making electoral rolls and issue them according to the act to the appropriate election commission until November 14, 2005.
If not later than 30 days prior elections, i.e. before November 4, 2005 you found that you would not have a chance to come to voting station at the place of residence on election day, than you have a right write a petition to the local Akimat about including you into the appropriate electoral roll. At the same time, Akimat of the place of your stay will organize your exclusion from electoral roll of your registered place and including you to the electoral roll of that station, you want to vote at.
If you found that you would change your place of stay 15 days prior elections (from November 18 to December 4 of 2005), than according to your request, and with issued identification document, the district election commission at the place of your register would issue you a strike off certificate for the right of voting. On the day of voting, with producing the strike off certificate for the voting right and identification document, the district election commission at the place of your stay will include you into the electoral roll.
The district election commission presents the electoral rolls for examination 15 days prior the elections, i.e. from November, 18 of 2005. You are given an opportunity to familiarize with electoral roll, to check the rightness of date about yourself, in case of non-including, wrong including, or excluding from the roll or any inaccuracy of data about you, you can lodge a complaint to the election commission or the court.
If on the day of election, due to any reason, you would be not on the roll of election district, on the territory of which your place of residence is registered, than with the presence of registration book or book of lodgers’ records and identification document, the district election commission is obliged to include you to the electoral roll.
Dear electors! In order to participate in voting you need to issue the identification document.
The right of vote transfer or voting for other person at the elections is not permitted.
