On ensuring accessibility for persons with disabilities during the 

republican referendum scheduled for 6 October 2024

In accordance with the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, ratified by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 20 February 2015 No. 288-V ZRK, subparagraphs 1) and 2) of paragraph 1 of Article 21 of the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On the Republican Referendum,” the Central Referendum Commission RESOLVES THAT:

1. Local executive bodies shall take necessary measures to ensure accessibility for persons with disabilities at the referendum polling stations in accordance with the Instructions for equipping the premise for voting at the polling station, voting place, approved by the Decree of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 23 October 2012 No. 21/183 to exercise their right to vote.

2. This resolution shall be published on the Internet resource of the Central Referendum Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

3. Control over the execution of this resolution shall be assigned to the member of the Central Referendum Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan A.G.Schegortsova.
