JOINT RESOLUTION AND ORDER

   

On registration of citizens at the addresses of polling stations for 

early elections of members of the Mazhilis of the Parliament and 

maslikhats of the Republic of Kazakhstan, scheduled for March 19, 2023

 

In accordance with Articles 24, 25 and 26 of the Constitutional Act of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan, subparagraph 7) of Article 6 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Internal Affairs Bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan and paragraph 1 of the Regulation on the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, approved by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 12, 2019 No. 501, the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan RESOLVES, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan ORDER:

1. To approve the algorithm for registering citizens at the addresses of polling stations for early elections of members of the Mazhilis of the Parliament and maslikhats of the Republic of Kazakhstan, scheduled for March 19, 2023, in accordance with the Annex to these joint resolutions and orders.

2. To local executive bodies of regions, cities of republican significance and the capital, together with the relevant territorial election commissions of regions, cities of republican significance and the capital, to determine polling stations for the placement of employees of the Government for Citizens State Corporation Non-Profit Joint-Stock Company to receive citizens for registration until March 10, 2023, submit relevant information to the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

3. To the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with the Government for Citizens State Corporation Non-Profit Joint-Stock Company (as agreed), to implement the reception of citizens for registration at the addresses of polling stations.

4. To entrust control over the execution of these joint resolution and order to the Deputy Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan, supervising deputies of the Minister of Internal Affairs and Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

5. This joint resolution and order shall enter into force from the date of its signature.
