On the early termination of the powers of maslikhats of all levels

In accordance with paragraph 5 of Article 86 of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, paragraph 3 of Article 101 of the Constitutional Act of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan,” paragraph 2 of Article 23 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Local Government and Self-Government in the Republic of Kazakhstan” I DECREE:

1. Prematurely terminate the powers of maslikhats of all levels.

2. Measures to be taken by the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan to appoint, organise the preparation and conduct early elections of members of maslikhats of all levels.

3. Measures to be taken by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, akims of Astana, Almaty, Shymkent and regions for organisational, logistical and financial support of early elections of maslikhat members of all levels.

4. This Decree shall enter into force from the date of its publication.
