Seminar-meeting in Petropavlovsk

On June 21-22, 2021, a seminar-meeting was held in Petropavlovsk on organization of territorial election commissions’ activities of the North Kazakhstan region in the framework of preparation and conduct of elections of akims of the rural level.

The seminar was held in the form of lectures, practical exercises, a business game and testing of seminar participants.

The meeting was attended by a member of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerlan Dauylbayev, Deputy Head of the Electoral Process Organization Department of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan Meyrambek Kanybekov, heads of akim's offices of cities and regions, members of territorial election commissions as well as representatives of state bodies involved in organizing election process.

The seminar discussed innovations in electoral legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, peculiarities of organizing and holding elections of akims of cities of district significance, villages, townships and rural districts as well as the algorithm of work of territorial election commissions with state bodies during the election of akims of rural districts.

Representatives of the territorial election commissions of the North Kazakhstan region made reports on aspects of organizing and holding elections of akims of the rural level as well as issues of information and documentation support of election commissions.
