Seminar-meeting in Karaganda "On organization and conduct of direct elections of akims of cities of regional significance, villages, townships, rural districts"

On June 15, 2021, a seminar-meeting "On organization and conduct of direct elections of akims of cities of regional significance, villages, townships, rural districts" was held in Karaganda.

A member of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan A.Schegortsova, employees of the CEC Office of G. Kembayeva and M. Kanybekov, as well as representatives of territorial election commissions and local executive bodies took part in the seminar.

During the seminar, participants considered legal and organizational aspects of organizing and holding elections of akims, information support for activities of election commissions during the election campaign, ensuring electoral rights of persons with disabilities as well as the issue of holding elections of akims in a pandemic.

As a result of the seminar, an exchange of views took place.
