Deputy Chairman of Central Election Commission K. Petrov took part in seminar in Aktobe

On June 16-18, 2021, a training seminar "Elections of akims of cities of district significance, villages, townships, rural districts of the Republic of Kazakhstan: legal basis of electoral process and organization of election commissions’ work" was held in Aktobe for representatives of territorial election commissions of Aktobe region.

The seminar was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan K. Petrov, representatives of territorial election commissions and local executive bodies involved in organizing the election process.

The training seminar was conducted in the form of motivational lectures, strategic sessions, interactive discussions, training and practical tasks.

During the seminar participants discussed legal and organizational aspects of electoral campaigns, powers and features of election commissions’ work as well as information support of their activities during the election period, issues of financing election campaigns, ensuring electoral rights of persons with disabilities and holding elections of akims in a pandemic.

As a result of the seminar certificates were awarded.
